Syphilis Was Almost Eradicated In The U.S. So Why Is It Making A Comeback?

Cases of syphilis are on the rise in the United States. Chicago is also mirroring nationwide trends. The sexually transmitted infection was down to just over 30,000 cases in 2000, but that number rose to above 200,000 in 2022.
