Syracuse Eyes Redemption Against Pitt | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Syracuse is primed for a brutal road showdown against Pitt this Thursday, seeking redemption after a crushing loss to Cal. With a 0-1 conference record and a history of struggles against the Panthers — especially away from home — the Orange face a daunting task against a hot Pitt squad already 2-0. Head coach Fran Brown, frustrated by his team’s zero wins against ACC rivals in his first two seasons, is pushing his players to erase past failures and fix glaring issues like penalties and special teams woes. Quarterback Steve Angeli takes the reins as the team races to turn things around — and Brown’s rallying cry? Move on from Cal and unite behind the mission: win this one.
