Syracuse Football Spring Game: Odom Shines, QB Race Undecided

Syracuse footballs spring game concluded with Team Davis narrowly defeating Team Brown 9-7. The game, streamed on ACC Network Extra, featured a low-scoring affair and struggles from quarterbacks, particularly Malachi Nelson. Amari Odom led Team Davis with a game-winning field goal, while Malachi Coleman scored the only touchdown for Team Brown. The game lacked energy due to empty seats and missing starters, focusing more on depth battles than showcasing talent. Odom and Sackie were named MVPs, with Hatcher and Bredell also making notable contributions. The QB competition remains open, with Nelsons performance not ideal. As Syracuse prepares for fall camp with seven new starters and a new defensive coordinator, the spring game served as a teaser for whats to come.
