Syracuse Lands Top-125 CB Jamel Griffin

Syracuse locks in a big win for their 2027 class with three-star cornerback Jamel Griffin, the 124th-ranked CB nationally, who chose them over Kentucky and South Florida after a strong campus visit. A standout from Opelika High, Griffin racked up 83 tackles and four pass breakups last season. His commitment brings Syracuse’s 2027 haul to 16 players — good enough for 33rd nationally — signaling a serious rebuild underway.
