Syracuse Lands Top NY RB Elijah Kimble | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Syracuse just pulled off a huge recruiting win with four-star running back Elijah Kimble, the top in-state prospect for the 2027 class, committing on July 3rd after a visit that sealed the deal. At just 5’8” and 190 lbs, Kimble’s explosive high school career — over 5,000 rushing yards and 77 touchdowns — proves he’s a dynamic playmaker who can run, catch, and dominate. Head coach Fran Brown and his staff, known for building relationships and player futures, made strategic moves to secure him, even letting go of other RB commitments. With Kimble now on board, Syracuse’s 2027 class hits 24 commitments and signals a major leap forward in building a championship-caliber program.
