Syracuse Lands Versatile DL Jason Lewis

Syracuse football just pulled off a big win in the recruiting world, landing three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis for the 2027 class. After visiting campus in June and weighing offers from schools like Mississippi State and Florida State, Lewis chose the Orange — a decision that felt like a major step toward competing at the highest level. Offered back in May 2025 by GM Thomas Caporale, Lewis brings rare versatility — he can play both tight end and defensive end — but Syracuse sees him as a dominant pass rusher on defense. With strong blocking skills and a smooth game, he’s poised to make an impact. This signing signals Syracuse’s growing momentum in the recruiting trenches.
