Syracuse Stars Rise in Yahoo Fantasy Rankings | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Yahoo! Sports just dropped their first-ever college football fantasy rankings—and Syracuse is heating up the board with four players making the cut. Wide receivers Cole Weaver and Umari Hatcher, both poised for big roles, lead the charge. Weaver brings elite stats from Miami (Ohio), while Hatcher, back from the transfer portal, earned MVP honors at spring game and is primed to be a red-zone weapon. Running back Ahmad Miller, a 1,000-yard rusher from Jackson State, is seen as a game-changer after bouncing back from injury. And quarterback Steve Angeli? Despite a shortened 2025 season, his presence lifted Syracuse’s record—and with the coach’s history of QB success, Angeli could skyrocket if healthy. Fall camp starts in August, with the Orange opening against New Hampshire on September 5. Can these ranked players deliver fantasy gold—or just hype?
