Syracuse Tops Duke, Virginia Over Notre Dame, Ivy League Gets Wierd & More (LaxFactor Podcast #199)

Syracuse hosted Duke on Saturday in the Carrier Dome and Tucker Dordevic had himself a day in Cuse's 14-10 win over the Blue Devils netting 5 goals and 2 assists including a bonkers one-handed between the legs finish to give the Orange a 2 goal lead late in the game and ice the Duke comeback bid. In other action, Virginia handled Notre Dame 12-8 and Connor Shellenberger continued his dominance with a 3 goal, 2 assist effort. In a big Patriot League matchup, Brendan Nichtern showed why he's one of the best attackmen in the country scoring 3 goals and 4 assists on the day, with 2 goals and 3 assists coming over a 4th quarter stretch that saw Army take the lead and pull away for the win. The Ivy League has been odd in both their dominance against non-league foes, as well as in how Saturday played out.
