Syracuse vs Notre Dame: A Humbling Blowout | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Syracuse’s humiliating 7-70 loss to Notre Dame last season is a nightmare replay waiting to happen — unless they turn the page fast. Notre Dame didn’t even touch the ball before scoring three touchdowns via pick-six, blocked punt, and interception return. Their running backs shredded Syracuse’s defense for over 20 yards per carry, while the freshman QB threw three picks — two TDs. Syracuse’s offense barely moved, gaining just 12 rushing yards, and their defense was obliterated with 15 tackles for loss. This time, Syracuse must rise or risk staying buried — and fast.
