Syracuse’s Tough Road Ahead | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Syracuse’s first loss of the season came at home against Cal, dropping them to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in conference — a setback that could derail their entire season. With brutal matchups ahead — Notre Dame, SMU, Louisville, Virginia — and now looking like underdogs in nearly every game, the Orange need wins against tough teams like Pittsburgh, Clemson, and NC State just to reach the six-win threshold needed for a bowl bid. Oddsmakers remain unconcerned, keeping Syracuse’s projected win total at 4.5. Their next test? A road showdown with Pittsburgh on Thursday night at 7:30 PM ET — a pivotal moment in their season.
