Syracuse’s Tough Road Ahead | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Brad Crawford’s brutal college football forecast for Syracuse paints a grim picture: a 3-9 season, mirroring last year’s struggles despite offseason optimism around QB Steve Angeli’s recovery. Starting with a win over New Hampshire, the Orange face a brutal ACC stretch — losses to Cal, Pitt, and Virginia — before scraping a few wins against UConn and Boston College. Powerhouses like Clemson, Notre Dame, and Louisville will seal their fate, leaving them bowl-less for the second straight year. Crawford warns that after exceeding expectations early last season, Syracuse may be due for a step back — though coach Fran Brown’s recruiting and confidence are turning heads. The schedule might help: tougher games at home could be a game-changer if Angeli delivers. Ultimately, the season hinges on execution — and this forecast could be the fuel the Orange need to prove the doubters wrong.
