Syracuse's Under-the-Radar Punter

Meet Mateja Pavlovich, the under-the-radar redshirt freshman punter for Syracuse who’s quietly building his case for kickoff duties this season. Standing 6’2” and packing 220 pounds, the Hookstown, PA native walked on to the Orange despite interest from West Virginia and Kentucky — and even played multiple positions in high school, including running back and linebacker. With a population smaller than Syracuse’s roster, Pavlovich’s hometown is a quiet backdrop to his big potential on special teams. He’s got the tools, the grit, and now, the chance to make his mark — starting with a backup role to Jimmy Gregg. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
