We’ve all experienced those times when someone says something or sends an email and without giving ourselves time to fully process, let alone breathe, we’ve not only hit the reply button, crafted a response but have already clicked send. I know someone who simply responds so they can get it off their plate and don’t have to deal with it anymore. We are so quick to reply, quick to question, quick to condemn, even when we have little to no information. When it comes to communication, I’m sure we’ve all heard the acronym for “THINK” - “Is it true? Is it helpful? Is it inspiring? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Tomorrow, take a moment to breathe, look at it from a place of good intent, pause and ask God to guide and guard your words.
