Tackling Homelessness with Focus Ireland's 'Shine a Light' Campaign

All this week on Newstalk, we are shining a light on homelessness with Focus Ireland. 'Shine A Light Night' is Focus Ireland’s flagship campaign which takes place this year on Friday 16th October in partnership with Bord Gais Energy. They are asking their supporters to sleep out for one night to shine a light on homelessness and raise vital funds for their work supporting people experiencing homelessness. As a part of the drive to raise awareness for the campaign, Andrea Gilligan was joined by a panel of experts to discuss the various factors which contribute to homelessness in Ireland and look at the ways in which we might be able to eliminate homelessness for good.
