If there’s resentment, let it go. If there’s a strained relationship with family, take the first step in mending it. And if there’s tension with your parents, make that call—seek their blessings.This is an incredible opportunity from Allah—a night where He is offering His forgiveness to all of us. Let’s not let it slip away!What Can We Do Tonight?🌙 Spend the night in worship📖 Recite Qur’an🤲 Make heartfelt dua🕌 Pray extra Sunnah✨ Increase your remembrance of AllahFasting Tomorrow: Double the Reward!Tomorrow, Friday, the 15th of Shaaban, is not only a blessed day in Shaaban but also one of the White Days (13th, 14th, and 15th of every lunar month).If you’re fasting today, make multiple intentions:✅ Fasting for Shaaban✅ Fasting for Thursday (a Sunnah of Rasulullah ﷺ)✅ Fasting for the White DaysOne action, triple the reward!Tomorrow, you can double your intention again for Shaaban and the White Days. This is how we maximise our rewardwith a single deed.Now, Let’s Move on to Surah Ar-RahmanSurah Ar-Rahman is unique for two key reasons:1️⃣ It begins with one of the most powerful names of Allah—Ar-Rahman.2️⃣ It repeats the famous verse:فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ“So which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?”This phrase appears multiple times throughout the surah.Why Is Ar-Rahman So Unique?Most of Allah’s names in the Qur’an come in pairs, like:📖 السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (The All-Hearing, The All-Knowing)📖 الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ (The Mighty, The Wise)But Ar-Rahman appears alone at the beginning of this surah.It also stands out in Surah Maryam, and in Surah Al-Isra’, where Allah says:قُلِ ادْعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادْعُوا الرَّحْمَٰنَ ۖ“Call upon Allah, or call upon Ar-Rahman…”Unlike other names, Ar-Rahman is given a special, standalone status.What Does Ar-Rahman Really Mean?It is commonly translated as “The Most Merciful” or “The Most Compassionate”, but these translations don’t fully capture its depth.In one hadith, Allah says:“I am Allah, and I am Ar-Rahman. I created the womb (rahim) and I derived its name from My name.”So Rahman comes from Rahim, which means “womb”.Imagine a baby in the womb. It doesn’t need to do anything. The mother feeds it, nourishes it, protects it—without the baby asking, earning, or even knowing.This is Ar-Rahman.
