Taka Higashino on the Fly Racing Swapmoto Podcast

Presented by Fly Racing Japan's Taka Higashino has been a fixture on the American freestyle motocross circuit for over a decade now, but it wasn't until we sat down with him for this podcast that we realized just how cool hos story about coming to the United States is! In 2007, Higashino came to California with $6000 in his pocket and a dream, but no plans whatsoever! After riding at Lake Elsinore MX Park and hitting the same jump over and over, he set out to find some real places to ride FMX. With the help of Google Earth, he found a house with ramps, drove there, and knocked on the front door... Taka's English has improved massively since he first came to California, but this may be tough for some to understand. The longer you listen, though, the easier it becomes to understand his Jenglish!
