Welcome To Year 3! Coping with change has basically been the theme of 2020 thus far. Humans don't particularly fair well with change even if we initiate it. Change causes stress and we know that stress is bad for our brains. Making changes in your attitude & behaviors as your caring for a loved one takes courage. Implementing change also requires practice, patience, and perseverance. The process takes time and you may need to revisit some issues repeatedly. Change is more than a one-shot cure. As a caregiver, your feelings may revolve around the enormous responsibilities, obligations, and stresses you face every day. Maybe you need to make a change in a relationship with other family members. The reality is that change is stressful.
