Morning Mantra: “Train yourself to take nothing personally.”Ugh, this is a hard one.We can get so bent out of shape by what others do or say when the truth is, they RARELY do it to us on purpose.Most of the time they aren’t even aware of us, or thinking of us, when they do something dumb or cruel.That guy in the car that cut you off or won’t let you merge? He doesn’t even know you. He’s just inconsiderate. That's HIS problem. Don't make it yours. Let it go.That girl at the barn or office that gossips about you? That isn’t YOUR problem, it’s hers. She lacks empathy, consideration, and boundaries. You reacting won’t change her. Let it go.Even if it seems personal, it’s probably not. People don’t do things because of us, they do it because of them.
