Take Ownership

from The Interesting Health & Safety Podcast · host Colin Nottage

One of the most important things in safety, is that we do not spend time apportioning blame, or pushing away accountability. Instead we must seek to take ownership of issues whenever possible, as it is through this that we can more swiftly rectify and move on. KEY TAKEAWAYS If an issue arises, we should be looking at ourselves, the part we played in why, and how we can make things better from now on. Self-reflection and examination is incredibly important. If we point the finger and turn away, we cannot learn.  BEST MOMENTS 'It's far too easy to blame other people' 'I want to challenge you as individuals'  VALUABLE RESOURCES The Interesting Health & Safety Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/vn/podcast/the-interesting-health-safety-podcast/id1467771449       www.projectmollitiam.com ABOUT THE HOST Colin Nottage ‘Making health and safety as important as everything else we do.’ This is the belief that Colin is passionate about and through his consultancy Influential Management Group (IMG) is able to spread into industry.
