DJ MKY DJ MKY From humble beginnings as an actor and dancer to the decks of some of Australia’s most renowned clubs and events, DJ MKY has officially landed, smack-bang, centre stage… and it’s only the beginning.Given his debut at long-running Sydney mega party Daywash and being a finalist in the Mardi Gras Spin-Off Competition, he was soon to be snapped up by some of Australia’s hottest clubs including The Shift, ARQ Sydney, Columbian and Nevermind not only for his “hands-in-the-air” musical style, but for the energy that explodes from him when he gets behind the decks and takes control of the dancefloor.Finding his true calling as a naturally talented DJ with a music, dance and theatre background, he combines decades of performing for audiences, with his outstanding party-boy and gogo dancing experience, to achieve a sound that takes the dancefloor on a journey through what they think they want, what they truly want and what they didn’t even know existed. A fat sound, with meaty vocals combining Alcestis by Euripides (484 BCE - 406 BCE) LibriVox Alcestis is the earliest surviving play by Euripides. Alcestis, the devoted wife of King Admetus, has agreed to die in his place, and at the beginning of the play she is close to death. In the first scene, Apollo argues with Thanatos (Death), asking to prolong Alcestis' life, but Thanatos refuses. Apollo leaves, but suggests that a man will come to Pherae who will save Alcestis. Euripides' play is perhaps the most unusual Greek drama ever written: a tragedy that is not a tragedy.
