Mark's role as head of the Atlassian Foundation includes leading the efforts of all Atlassians to contribute to the Atlassian Foundation's goal of helping to educate disadvantaged youth globally, preparing them for the workforce of the future, and being the Australian lead for Pledge 1%. Pledge 1% is a movement encouraging business founders to pledge 1% of equity, 1% of profit, 1% of their people's time and 1% of their products to a social cause they are passionate about.
