The symbol of the Christian cross: it’s utilized in many different ways by many different faith-based organizations and churches around the world. And….while debate rages on regarding the appropriateness – or INAPPROPRIATENESS – of doing so, it’s clear is that there are lots of varying opinions on the topic. But the REAL question is….is that was Jesus truly meant when He told us to “take up our cross” and follow Him? In fact, what DID He really mean by that statement? And what does the WORD OF GOD say about using the symbolism of the cross? Is God on record as being against such symbolism?
