TAKES of Our Time: Tobie Openshaw on
from Tales of Our Time
Today is a very special interview where host Amanda Stephens and fellow Rti cohost Joey Chou sat down with Documentary Filmmaker and Affiliated Research Fellow at the Centre for Austronesian Studies University of Central Lancashire: Tobie Openshaw! Tobie recently published a book about Taiwan's indigenous SaSiyat tribe's myths featuring "little people", or "Koko ta'ay"-- "Seeking the Koko Ta’ay: Investigating the Origins of Little People Myths in Taiwan and Beyond". So today we're discussing both the foundational myth of the SaiSiyat people, and then further the idea of little peoples (and their similar characteristics) across global mythologies!
