Taking A Neurodiversity-affirming Approach | Feat. Adina Levy

This week we have an incredible interview with Adina Levy from Play Learn Chat. Adina is a speech pathologist, but she prefers to go by a speech therapist. Adina supports parents of autistic and neuro-diverse children with a neurodiversity-affirming approach. Her non-traditional online business enables more families around Australia to access practical, affordable, and relatable speech therapy, guidance, and education. Adina also works with educators and has been in this profession since 2012. Language note: At the time of recording, a few months before release, we used 'neurodiverse' to talk about 1 person which we now know is incorrect! Sometimes our sparkly brains get jumbled with words but it's important to get language right! We should (and now) use 'neurodivergent' to talk about 1 person, as 1 person cannot be 'diverse' (a group can)!
