The concept of thought as a "sensory organ" highlights its adaptive, generative, and transformative qualities; it is a complex system that not only receives information but also actively builds, interprets, and reinvents our perception of reality. This is why it is essential to align our thoughts closely with the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ outlines the quality of thought system necessary to engage with both tangible realities and the unseen aspects of our subconscious existence. This scripture below gives a little view into what the mind of Christ is like in-case, you need to have a perspective why you anchor you thought on Him. Romans 11:33-36. Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! 34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” 35 “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” 36 For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. Let’s connect these verses to Philippians 2:5-6. As we can see that although, Christ is God, but he did not use his position as God as an advantage but rather humbled himself in going through the process required for the redemption of humanity from the stronghold of Sin. The standard Christ displayed gives to us the barometer to how to handle the sensory realties of our thoughts. 2 Corinthians 10: 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh 4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds), 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; 6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be made full.
