From Anchorage to San Francisco to Lima, the two sides have come a long way. Over the weekend, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with his U.S. counterpart Joe Biden in Lima on the sidelines of APEC meetings in Peru. Both sides hailed the past four years of engagement.
