The understanding of violence is critical in the daily life operations of a child of God, this is because although we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus and the devil is defeated, he still makes attempts to shift us away from our victory stand. This is why we must stand firm in the liberty Christ Jesus acquired for us. The Bible says, Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 The mind is a neutral ground where both good and bad thoughts fight for dominance, the winner is determined by the thinker. The Bible says, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23. Thus, when you allow good thoughts to rule your mind, you allowed them to win the battle and vice versa. This is why we must bring our thoughts into bondage that is, control our thoughts.
