Auckland is built between a couple of large harbours in the north of New Zealand's North Island. The iconic Sky Tower In the centre has great views of the Viaduct Harbour home to many superyachts and filled with brilliant bars and cafes. The city's oldest park, Auckland Domain is based around an extinct volcano and the city maintains many of its historical Auckland buildings among the contraction of many new skyscrapers and apartment buildings.
