, i am a totally blind DJ, this is my story Raeez Kuhn, "Eezo the Blind DJ". I lost my eyesight at the age of 2 years old. I attended The School for The Blind for years, where I learned to read, write, and use computers. I was allowed to pursue my passion for music which developed when my uncle used to play the radio in the car.  From the age of 10, I began to dream of a career as a DJ. I decided to call myself "Eezo the Blind DJ". Some people thought I was crazy, how could a blind person manage the decks, choose the tracks, and mix the sounds? IMPOSSIBLE… I wanted to challenge myself and realize my dream. Nonetheless, I have thousands of followers on Facebook and can access social media using an app called "TalkBack", which converts the written word (on the screen of my phone), into the spoken word. Promoters are willing to give me work, but I don't have any equipment, and because of this, I can't get the gigs I need. Funds raised will assist me in acquiring the much-needed equipment I need to perform my work and continue my passion.
