Lizzie and Lyra talk 9-1-1's "Family History," and how even if it was mostly effective as an episode, it wasn't really a great midseason finale. Probably because it wasn't meant to be one! They also have some issues with Chimney's Captain arc happening mostly off-screen, and Hen's choice to hide his illness from her family for... what reason, again? The show's pacing is a problem, and its tendency to expect us to fill in the blanks is also an issue.  Plus, there are still so many dangling plot threads from last season!
