Taliban is guilty of violating international human rights law, says People’s Tribunal judges

    Yesterday, the Permanent People’s Tribunal judges presented their final judgement in the People’s Tribunal for Women of Afghanistan. The judges ruled that Taliban authorities have flouted the international human rights law and that they have intentionally and severely deprived women and girls of fundamental rights, including the right to life, the right not to be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.
