Stay tuned because in This Episode of One More Thing Before You Go, we are going to have a conversation with a woman who dreamed of being an FBI agent at a very young age and went on to working as a Secret Service agent in the White House, to being an author of her first book "Talk Back Barbie the Secret Service Edition." Where you get a first-hand account of how she handled it all. I'm your host Michael Herst and this is that thing about Talk Back Barbie…. My guest in this episode is Lauren Lusby Fernandez graduated from Virginia Tech with a Political Science: Pre-Law degree. She went to work for the Secret Service in Washington, D.C. and trained at the elite Federal Law Enforcement Training Center as well as the James J. Rowley Training Center.  She has been a consultant at a firm in McLean, Virginia worked with the Department of State, CIA, the National Counterterrorism Center, and other Intelligence communities.  In January of 2021 Lauren self-published her first book, "Talk Back Barbie: The Secret Service Edition." It is a comedy about her experience working with the Secret Service as a girly-girl and how she got where she is today. Her life motto is: "If you trip and fall, laugh first, then get up and keep going! Because the only way you fail is to never get up."
