Talk Booky Has a Case of Vacationitis: Episode Two

from Talk Booky To Me · host talkbooky

It's time for the obligatory beach episode that plagued early sitcoms. Well, there's not really a beach, and we are not a sitcom, but the podcast is on vacation! Join us, Felicia and Aaron, as we record from a hotel room in downtown Asheville. We hit the road for a work conference, but you know we can't help ourselves. The trip extended into a multi-bookshop tour of the city where we loaded up on enough literature to last at least...two weeks? Who knows. Anyway, in this episode, we start with some news about conventions in Seattle and thrillers to read on vacation, give a tour of the various bookstores and purchases from the city, discuss our sparse reading in August so far, provide some rapid recommendations about time away from home, and end with a question about vacation reads. It's a packed episode with sub-par audio as this air conditioning unit needs to run non-stop to prevent us from fainting, but it's also very fun. Thank you for listening, and you can reach us at the outlets below!   Books Discussed at Length: Twilight - Stephanie Meyer The Village Library Demon Hunting Society - C.M.
