However, other consequences of GM products have surfaced, including sudden crop death, new viral strains, and birth defects. Yet, instead of taking measures to curb the products’ use, the FDA has liberalized it instead, giving the go-ahead for genetically modified alfalfa and salmon, and increasing the tolerance limits of the chemical in human beings.
