(ESV) 3. You don't have the power to tame your tongue James 3:7-8 All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. (NIV) Three God Keys To Controlling Your Tongue 1. Get your heart healthy Matthew 15:18-19 But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. (NIV) Luke 6:45 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. (NIV) 2. Get a muzzle on your mouth Psalm 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.
