Waltye’s talents extend beyond performance—she has been a TV host in Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Raleigh, a gifted music and voice teacher, and a skilled choral director. Her leadership shone as she became Head of Community and Public Affairs at WRAL-TV for nearly 20 years, where she hosted telethons, magazine shows, and countless community programs that made a real impact.Beyond her professional achievements, Waltye has served on numerous boards and continues to give back to causes she holds dear.
