But, while the events are back, does that mean that the vibe is back, also? Lakes has had the hardest hurdles to tackle: keeping its remit of supporting indie and legacy creatives while having the smallest representation of mainstream comics to possibly bring in the all-essential passing trade. We find out from two attendees - one reporting on, and one exhibiting at , the festival - what it's really been like with boots on the ground at this usually vibrant and vital festival.
