Talkin' Lost Episode 21 - Born to Run

from Talkin' TV

Penultimate episode time people! The last episode before the Season 1 finale. Despite it being the third Kate backstory we've gotten this season, there is a certain level of resolution that comes here. Kate's not a problematic character, but more so a victim of circumstance, as the decision to keep Jack alive rather than kill him off like in the original pilot script forced Kate into more of a secondary role, making the writers decide to keep her backstory more mysterious, only dropping bread crumbs throughout the show's dense run. All we get here is more of Kate's fugitive status, but the difference is we start to see how that has affected those closest to her, and explains why she's in such a rush to get off the island. We're getting ready for the first of many endgames as we brace for the finale only on #talkinlost
