Talkin' Lost Episode 55 - Par Avion + October Melee

In this episode, we take flight with Lost Season 3, Episode 12: “Par Avion” — where Claire gets proactive, Desmond plays guardian angel, and the mystery of Jack deepens in the Others’ camp. We dissect the emotional punch of Claire’s flashback, the eerie fate of her mother, and the shocking family connections revealed. Plus, is that a flock of birds… or just another cruel twist of island fate? Then, like a hatch exploding in the jungle, we pivot into a full-blown October content melee. We break down the fall’s most intriguing releases and stories: Task – The minimalist thriller that turns everyday productivity into a weapon. The Smashing Machine – A bruising look at Mark Kerr’s life and the brutal soul of MMA. Roofman – The legendary fast-food outlaw returns with a story too absurd (and too real) to ignore. Good Fortune – Aziz Ansari's return to the director’s chair: will it charm or collapse? Tron: Ares – A new grid, a new frontier… but can it lightcycle past legacy fatigue? If I Had Legs I’d Kick You – Experimental horror or dark comedy gem? We debate. The Black Phone 2 – The Grabber rings again—should we pick up? It Was Just an Accident – A psychological spiral disguised as a slow-burn drama. Is This Thing On? – A meta-mystery that might be the sleeper hit of spooky season. Strap in — this one's got smoke monsters and Oscar bait. Let’s get into it. Make sure you subscribe to the #talkintvpodcast and be sure to keep coming back every week for more content.
