I saw Chet Childress skate in person in 1992, he was a skinny kid with glasses. Fast forward some years and Chet was with me on my first trip to Orcas Island, and then a few years later I was on Chet’s first Skate Rock trip. He’s been pro since he was a youngster and I recently had the chance to catch up with him while he was in SF the Stuptown Skate team. We met up over some java and caught up and he broke down how it all went down over the last 20 years from Cacka to Portland to SJ to Colorado to Europe-Chets been everywhere, man...
