Talkin' Thrones Episode 32 - The Lion & the Rose

from Talkin' TV

This is one we've been waiting for awhile to do. Season 4, Episode 2, The Lion and the Rose. The final episode written by George R. R. Martin for the series before he went back to procrastinating on the Winds of Winter. This episode has a few other storylines, we're reintroduced to Ramsay and his sadism and briefly check in with Bran & Stannis, but the grand centerpiece of this episode is Joffrey's wedding. And what a wedding it is, so much to see. Jugglers, fire breathers, dwarf shows, and the crowning achievement: Joffrey's death. It's a brilliantly conceived episode as a cap off to the first three seasons while also bridging the gap to where the rest of the show would go. Be sure to check out the full episode at the links below, new episodes are available every Friday on Spotify and on Youtube at #talkintvpodcast
