Talking about bereavement with children

Once again we start this episode with a ‘Challenge Becks’ - What would she do if she was on a walk with children and came across an animal which had died? They also talk about: How both Claire and Becks’s upbringings were in environments where their parent’s jobs meant they were very open in terms of life and death and how this has influenced their own outlooks on death and bereavement. The importance of being open with children about death and what can happen if we aren’t.  The fact that died, dead and dying are tough words to hear but that it is what it is.
