Talking Babel with Josiah Bancroft
We’re joined by Josiah Bancroft, author of the Books of Babel series, including SENLIN ASCENDS and THE ARM OF THE SPHINX. In the world of self-publishing, word of mouth can make a huge impact on books popularity, and Bancroft’s fantasy/steampunk series has garnered the praise of authors and readers alike. During our chat we talk about the darker elements readers will find in the novels, the increasing complexity of crafting a fantasy series, how Josiah’s poetry background influenced his prose fiction, the benefit of attending conventions for an author, and what’s in store for the rest of the series.
