Keith Fraser has spent much of how working life trying to stop young people getting into trouble - and dealing with the aftermath when they do. He spent over 30 years in the police - first at the Met and then in the West Midlands where, as a superintendent, he became one of the most senior Black officers in the country.Keith was behind an innovative, prevention-based approach to tackling gang crime and has used his experience at the Youth Justice Board, after taking over as Chair in April 2020.
