Talking Detroit's Primary Election Results with Eli Newman of WDET

from The Week That Was on Deadline Detroit · host Craig Fahle / Deadline Detroit

Craig's guest is Eli Newman, who covers city government and politics for WDET, Detroit Public Radio.   They discuss the results of Tuesday's primary election, which had few surprises, but was significant for a number of reasons.  Mayor Mike Duggan coasted to a first place finish, leaving second place finisher Anthony Adams with a big hill to climb if he is to unseat Duggan.   Proposal P, the charter revision question, lost handily.  Also, two races for Detroit City Council, the at large race, and the race for District 4 look to be hotly contested in November.
