For over a decade after he directed episodes of hit shows such as Freddy's Nightmares, Tales From The Crypt, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, and Sleepwalkers. In 1999, Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis approached William under their newly formed company 'Dark Castle Entertainment' and asked him to direct a remake of the 1959 William Castle film 'House On Haunted Hill'. The film has since become a cult classic and put William among horror royalty. In 2002, he returned with FearDotCom which has since gained a huge following among the horror community. Upon the request of Mick Garris, William directed an episode of Masters Of Horror in 2006 called "The Fair-Haired Child". In 2008, he funded wrote, and directed his own movie 'Parasomnia' which is essentially a sleeping beauty story with some great horror twists and turns.Join me as I chat with William about his start in horror and making his first big pictures, working with Klaus Kinski, and some insane stories you won't believe!
