Colorism has a hairy cousin called Texturism. It wreaks havoc in the Black community, and within the Natural Hair Community. It’s been around for decades, brainwashing Black women into thinking their hair texture is undesirable or even worse, nappy. Texturism is a sickness in desperate need of a cure.
