Now, before we dive into that whole show, you know me and my full transparency kind of guy, whether that be with my bets, whether that be with my day to day life. I am a kind of guy that wears the old heart on the sleeve. Everybody knows who I am. So with that being said, we might as well go ahead and recap all of yesterday's best bet today and got a little perspective, a little something to add on top of that as well.
First things first, my friends, my best bet today and especially the day from yesterday, April the 11th, almost February, that would have been messed up 2020 to. Okay, not the greatest, not the worst, but here's what I want to tell you guys. This is the first, well, not the first, I think it's the second negative day that I have in the MLB season. Either way, two and three on the day, two, three and one, whatever you want to say, we had that Pittsburgh first five, four, that got rained out and moved to the 14th of this month.
I do believe. Yeah, I think Thursday. Either way, neither here nor there probably be betting on it now. I hope you enjoyed that.
We got the little guy pushing it out for us there. Two and three though on the day, it'll go down 1.67 units also with the Money Madness Barlight in there as well. So two and four technically on the day with the part like we played that as well, but only down 1.67 units. Now, my look at two and four, oh my gosh, two and four, that's terrible.
Down 1.67 units is not anything bad at all. And I can almost, I don't want to guarantee it, knock on wood because you know nothing's a guarantee in the spot, but in this space. But I could almost guarantee that we're going to make that back today and have a positive day today. I preached it yesterday of money management of bankroll management are amazing, ridiculous human being of a guest for tomorrow's episode of wise words shared his thoughts on it yesterday.
How money management is one of the key critical things for you to have a long term sports betting career. And that's what we're here for. We're not here to, it's the same in everything, every space. If you are a diamond hand holder in your stocks or in your FTES, whatever case might be, if you're a diamond hand holder, you understand this concept.
That's what we're here for. So one simple mediocre nonsense town 1.67 units is not going to kill you. If you come into today and continue to play that same unit, maybe you went down in your bankroll. Maybe you continue to stick to that 2% play, but maybe instead of $100 now, that's $80.
Maybe that's $75. Maybe that's $50. That's okay, but whatever your bankroll is, it should only be 2-5% of that whatever you can afford. Point blank period.
And if you stick to that and if you stay to that bankroll management system, you will not get in trouble and you will not have to be dialing 1-800-gammular. I promise you that as a firm, cold, hard fact. But point blank period yesterday, 2-4. I got to be better.
2-4-1 is not acceptable. Also my boy, right here, he's got to be better. Chris Flex. It actually wasn't his fault and it wasn't my fault either.
You know what? My emotions were out and about yesterday. And when you know both of them had freaking first 5-5 in the money line. So, hey, hey, hey, hey, you guys stop it.
Stop motioning my plays dog on it. You started doing it college back. We ain't going to do this this early in the MLB season. So, hey, there you go.

Without further ado, my friends. Let's get into today's board, baby. Okay. News to me, actually, that there was an NBA games on tap.
I thought it started on Thursday. So yeah, I'll quickly talk about that at the end. I'm not really like I said, I'm not too too over the moon the last few days here with NBA or trying to get involved at all. It's just not enjoyable to be to get dragged through the blood after I do all types of analysis that doesn't even end up happening at the end of the day.
So goodness gracious, this this whole app here today is sure having some fun. Okay, and then we go. We have a nice NHL slate as well, but I'm not going to dive into that. I don't have any plays.
I don't have any analysis that's just going to be me talking out of my face. So I'm just going to stick with what I got and what I know right now and where I've been hot. And that's the MLB my friends. So we'll kick things off.
Right here up at the top with the first matchup in the national league. Obviously we're going to have Boston and Detroit be the first one off here. But as you look through, they're not all in numerical order. So we're just going from top all the way to bottom.
So I will definitely shout out what the first pitch is and everything in between. And also if I have a play out any of those games, yada, yada, yada. You know the drill. So without further ado, let's get into the first one over here.
We have in the National League four games going off today. First one first pitch. You see a 312 PM Central Standard Time. We got Drew Smiley on the buff from my cubbies and Jose Quintana apparently on the mountain for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Some places are showing Zach Thompson, but it does look like it. The books are pointed out. I do believe Jose Quintana is going to be on the mound. And that makes me love this even more because of the simple fact of how well the cubbies know Quintana in this spot.
Now I look at this as a spot that the cubbies are coming into this game after that brutal brutal five to four loss loss. Five or loss on Sunday to the Brewers. They were up most of that game and then they just let it slip away right at the end. I think they come into this game absolutely charged up absolutely fired up.
So I'm looking at the first five and I'm not too worried about smiling even though I will talk about the pitching matchup, but I'm taking the Cubs first five money line. I caught it at minus 132. It's ticked up to about this one 38 and I absolutely love it in that spot. Like I said, I think the Cubs come out here hot.
The offense clicking on all cylinders and what really sold me on that fact is this pitching matchup. First things first. You got Drew Smiley. I know everybody wants to throw shade at him.
I did two last year on the Braves. I'm not going to pull any bones about it whatsoever, but I will tell you if he's been able to be consistent and okay against one team. It's been the Pirates six games pitched against him and he's got a 3.88 strikeout to walk ratio. So he absolutely mowsed down Pirates hitters.
I don't know what it is if they just don't have a pitching coach that can figure out Drew Smiley. But I'll tell you what he absolutely mows him down and actually versus his lineup. He's been pretty successful. I think we see some positive regression on these as well.
42 at bats form faced against this lineup. 287 batting average allowed 319 OBP and a 929 OPS. So he's absolutely murdered this team over the course of his career and just his lineup has been a little bumpy here through the first couple of times he's faced him. But I think this is the time that he really, really shows up and shows out.
And Cantana, I think he gets beat around the ballpark. I think he's got a little bit of inflated numbers against the Cubs because it was so long ago. 37 at bats against this lineup 252 batting average allowed 266 OBP and a 715 OPS. He really doesn't have that much of a sample size and with there only being 37 at bats with those numbers almost identical with a good handful more there for Smiley.
I'm going to go ahead and get in the boat back and smiley to be able to at least keep us in this game. We don't play to push. I think the Cubs offense absolutely destroys Q and I think that's what gets this done for us. But honestly, the pitch matchup is what sold me.
So first best bet of the day up on the board. You see it there. It's 12 PM Central time first pitch. Scott Cubs first five.
Money line. Next one up. We got the New York Mets going up against the Philadelphia Phillies. We have rotation number 903 and 904 and we got first pitch at 3.
Oh, no, I'm sorry. Goodness gracious. 545 PM Central time Trevor McGill and Zack Wheeler going up against each other. You see it there on the screen.
My friends. My first instinct was to get in the boat with Zack Wheeler. You also see on your screen how it opened up at minus 165 across the market and now it is down to minus 145 almost sounding 145 at this point. So I question whether or not Zack Wheeler.
Sorry. I'm going to go to my fault. My apologies. You're saying pretty good at that.
But I'm sorry. Moving along. I opened up minus 165 to the minus 145. I don't necessarily know the Zack Wheeler is going to struggle here today against this Philly lineup.
I don't know that for a fact. Obviously, I think that is because you see the 82% 79% split on that Mets money line right over here. I also go across what goodness gracious. Things touching today.
82 79% right there. Split on the Mets money line. So definitely something to think about with that. I don't know two dimes in drop there that you're kind of maybe even one dime and drop that you're seeing across the market because there's everything else that you're seeing across the market.
I truly honestly believe that this might just be kind of a setup for everybody willing to back the Mets because my first hinkling was to go to the Mets first five or one line plus a half because I do like McGill. He did show out in his first appearance. But I did also say yesterday this Phillies lineup can be danger us and I think it's going to be dangerous today. So if you want to get involved with this short home favorite Philadelphia, but I have no plan on this one.
Those are just my humble opinions, but we all know everybody's got one of those moving right along rotation number 905 and 906 a shot at my boy, Balboa. Now officially a member of the TTL faithful appreciate you brother. So you're tuning in at some point in time here today with a live or a little later on down the track. Here's a Washington national is going up against the Atlanta Braves. I'm sorry, man. I'm going to do me your your Nazi Ken Patrick Corbin taking the bomb. He did not look good in the first game.
He came out and I don't die. This rotation is going to be the Achilles heel. I'm not going to be the dead horse. I'm not going to say the same things I did yesterday because it showed its ugly head in big fashion.
And I think it continues to against this absolutely electric Atlanta Braves offense. So that's my thoughts. No play that one for me. But we will keep this moving and a groove in rotation number 907 908 first pitch at 845 PM Central Standard Time, even though this one is going to be on the West Coast shout out to all my West Coast people.
I got a lot of friends on the West Coast now that I didn't have my life before pretty interesting how that works out. But geez, hey, you don't like where you are right now this year. Wait another one. I'll tell you to be totally different and crazy.
Oh, I just pull boy. My life is a testament to that right now. But what I will tell you is I do have a play out of 907 and 908. San Diego Padres going up against the San Francisco Giants pods are trotting out you Darvish and the Giants are putting out Alex Cobb.
Now, yeah, Alex Cobb is the one from the Angels last year. And yeah, he did have a little bit of shakiness in his performances from time to time. But I truly believe the Giants got shafted yesterday. And that's the reason why I'm going back to the first five money line.
I'm actually going back to the first five or online. I'm just going to the first five in general. Give me the Giants first five or online plus a half. I really think they got shafted yesterday.
Like I said, two to one is what that finish was. They got the one run lead in the third. Lost it in the fourth and then bottom or yeah, bottom of no. Maybe it was the top of the yeah.
Top of the fifth with two outs. They dropped it and then they could never get back on the board. So I just think they got shafted yesterday. And I think they went this one out right.
But I'll gladly eat the quarter and a nickel couple of pennies just to get involved with the plus a half. I think it was right around minus 132 minus 135. So nothing outlandish whatsoever. Honestly, this pitching match up is what did it for me.
It was something underlying in this pitching match up that I found really, really interesting. Just quick here to mention to you guys and we can move right along into the next match ups. Darvish, you know, he's a solid pitcher. You know, he pitched my cubbies.
I love him. But he did face San Francisco last year. He actually pitched 21 and 2 thirds innings against him being on the West Coast being in the in the West. And wouldn't you know, he held a 5.82 ERA against him last year.
So that absolutely murdered. He pitched against them a couple of times in 2019, pitched 11 and a third innings and held a 7.94 ERA. You notice I skipped 2020 because he didn't face him during the COVID year. But those are the two most recent seasons what he's done against the Giants bottom line.
He struggles against San Francisco and I think he continues to do so here today. Now, Alex, I've already mentioned it. He's not spectacular. He is not going to mow down hitters.
But what he is is the picture of consistency. He will pitch to contact, but he will not pitch to stupid contact in home runs and get burnt and gappers and triples and doubles. That's just not what he's going to do. He is a damage control guy, point blank period.
And I think we see him come out and have a pretty damn good start, a pretty damn dominant start for this Giants rotation. If the Giants were willing to go out and sign him to a contract to make him their fifth man in the rotation, I think they got some faith in him. So I'm not telling you tobacco giants on the full game because I honestly think Cobb makes it 5 innings. We catch this bad boy one and nothing, two to nothing.
And then the wheels fall off of his ass and we see classic Alex Cobb. I think he's going to be a good 4-5 inning pitcher force. We're going to be able to make a lot of money on the Giants in the first five. In this entire rotation, not only when Alex Cobb is on the mound, but this entire Giants rotation.
And that officially does it my second best of the day coming out of the NL, the NL West more specifically. Or specifically, I think that's what's over there. I have no idea. I live in the middle of nowhere where landlocked.
Actually, there's a lake somewhere up over there, some direction. Either way, what I do know San Francisco Giants first five are online plus a half. Okay, kids. Another quick sip.
That's quality. Quality sip. Okay, 22 minutes after the top of the hour. I'm trying to get through the American League and the inter league and then get into the special play of the day, the two for Tuesday parlay by 10.30.
I believe that is the perfect timing. So we kick things off. Rotation number 909 and 910, 12th, 10 PM Central time first pitch. Obviously coming up here very soon.

I noticed somebody who actually I got this thought track from had the play. I made it this morning and I was like, I haven't seen what such a success is doing for a while and bang it was there. And I was like, Oh shit, that's where I got this from. So I got to give her a special shout out.
Yes, it is a her shout out. But first things first Mariners against the White Sox. You have Matt Rash going up against Vince Velasquez. Yes, that Vince Velasquez the Philadelphia Phillies pitcher that let the fucking wheels fall off at every opportunity.
Possibly could Vince Velasquez. Now he's on the south side and we get to see him implode the black and white pin stripes as North side fans. It is absolutely beautiful. It's gorgeous.
The Sox are shooting themselves in the foot. So that's number one. I'm not worried about Vince Velasquez whatsoever. I think he gets absolutely destroyed and I think we see Sox Twitter absolutely bitching every time that this man takes the bump this season.
That is my humble prediction. He has had two official games against the Seattle Mariners in his career 19 at bats or yeah against the Seattle Mariners. I'm sorry. And this lineup 19 at bats against this lineup.
383 batting average allowed 470 OBP 1.5200 PS only six Ks with four walks and 1.453 1.435 sorry I have list XA. Just kidding. No, I don't. But I'm just being funny.
Oh, whip. So this guy gets beat the hell around. That's only a 19 at bats. What the hell are we going to do if he sees through this lineup three four times?
I think he's going to get murdered around at the ballpark here today regardless of this if this is the Sox home opener or not. Actually, oh, the Sox are really short home favorite in their home opener. What do you know? Well, I'll tell you something.
I was looking at the Mariners first five or online plus a half and I decided to skip it. I decided to say forget it because I haven't told you to play yet. I'm taking the Mariners first five on the money line, baby. I think they win this one outright.
I think you're getting ridiculous value. You can still find it at plus money across the market. And I mentioned I got to shout somebody out. That is my well used to be good friend in the space.
I don't know how tight we are anymore. My good friend in the space, whatever. Making making money. Shout triple M's.
Appreciate the hell out of you. We had a conversation in the DMS a long time ago about pitchers making their MLB debut and having no no tape on them. No thought track on them whatsoever. So ever.
And then those guys come in and they absolutely rake. They absolutely deal left, right and center and they just look like absolute vows among men. And I think that's what we're going to see here today from Matt brash. He is making his first official MLB start.
You can't really find much on him. Those are the guys that you loved back in the first five. Again, if you want to feel safe, go ahead. Take the first five plus a half.
I just couldn't pass up the plus money and the ridiculous value on the Mariners first five money line. So rotation number nine eleven nine twelve. That is my place. The Mariners first five money line.
Next one up. We got the Oakland Athletics rotation number nine thirteen nine fourteen going up against the Tampa Bay Rays. I got nothing out of this one whatsoever. You guys, I'm going to save some breath and I went back on my deathbed for the first five.
I went back on my deathbed for the essence of time and say this one is just no thanks. I'm good. See you later. Next one up rotation number nine fifteen nine sixteen.
We got a six or five PM central standard time first pitch. We got the Toronto Blue Jays up against the New York Yankees and we have you say kukuchi on the mountain for the blue Jays. Yeah, that's right. The Mariners you say kukuchi not anymore.
He's a blue j going up against Nestor Cortez battle of the lefties. My friends and I actually got two plays out of this matchup. If you follow me on Twitter, you might know where I'm going. If you follow my plays, you might really, really know where I'm going.
Then I just said two plays. That's right. My friends were going to. Toronto Blue Jays first five run line plus a half and that is where a full unit and then also taking the Toronto Blue Jays full game money line for a half a unit.
Just like we have been doing the whole entire season so far. But honestly, everybody and we've done in the past. But everybody and the brothers are already on the Yankees. I saw a boatload of experts already on them.
And oh my gosh, it looks like the sharp side. Oh boy, it's terrific. No, I'm calling bullshit. It is straight monetary liability.
36% of bets, but a whopping 89% of actual money wagered on these short home favorite Yankees. And I believe it is the setup of all setups. The books are absolutely going to clean house on this one. And I think we see some good, good, good, good.
Out in here, a good performance from you. Take a coochie. Four games pitched against the Yanks. 264 batting average, 343 on base percentage, 792 OPS.
That's just across the board against the Yankees against this lineup. It's a little bit inflated. I think we see some positive regression from here today. 54 at bats, 291 batting average allowed, 365 OPP and 930 OPS.
So you can see the split there. I really think it starts to come back down to that mean we see that positive regression to the mean against the Yankees here. And then Cortez, I honestly think he's being overvalued. He's been seven games against the Blue Jays, 261 batting average allowed, 316 OPP and 852 OPS.
He's actually struggled more against this lineup than he has against Toronto in his career. So unlike a coochie with that positive regression back to the mean, I think we see some regression away from the mean here for Cortez. 34 at bats, only 34, only 34 against this Blue Jays lineup, 265 batting average allowed, 305 OPP and 951 OPS. Those numbers are way too high for only 34 at bats against this Blue Jays lineup.
Big regression is coming. And I think the Jays absolutely rock him in the first five. Then I think they get in that bullpen. They absolutely torch him for the whole nine.
So I think a coochie keeps it in the game either way. But I think what it's going to come down to is this Blue Jays offense and seeing some regression from Cortez. So that is my, let me make sure I think that is my last best bet of the day. There was one, two, three, four, four, five, five, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six, six five, yeah, five.
There was all of them. Okay. So I'll just tell you about these couple of reasons, because I don't have anything all too major. I'll tell you what my head was in, and then we'll move into the special play the day 10, 30.
So right on the money. inverting typechez in bunch. All those guys in between I thought we were gonna be able to cash ticks on those guys, but the problem is gonna be this Miami offense I mean when you have guys, let me see Oh yeah, there we go. Hey, there's a guy's like a saggler.
I was thinking first baseman It'd be nice sometimes be able to ask somebody a question here So I'm gonna his use agalar grounded into double plays with a runner on first and third with one out like that's not that's unacceptable That's absolutely unacceptable like guys like that on this lineup. Can I be doing it and it's just not it's not look good This offense is not look good so far. So I'm avoiding this one I got burned one too many times here with the fins the Marlins the Miami Yeah, they're not the fence the Miami Marlins would I just avoid this one is what I'm trying to tell you grind out loud Just keep an eye on there you go there you have to keep it moving keep it moving get me out of that damn game rotation number 92924 We have a 640 pm central time verse pitch Andrew. He's going up against Chris Archer I don't trust Andrew he any farther than I can throw on the problem is neither Do I really trust Chris Archer at this point his career either?
I'm not exactly sure what we see from either of these two guys I think we see a boatload of runs obviously the majority of people are thinking that as well With us how these actually not at all the under is getting the action the tickets and the handle over is moved up to nine and a half across The market in some spots. I am more in some spots rather after nine open So I say avoid that one at all cars too because that over would have been my play, but the under is obviously getting the juice So see hey obviously be careful there, but yeah, you see that right on the West gate the under is getting minus 120 So yeah be careful in that game next one up. We're just number 92926.
