Sorry, my friends. If you play the straight plays, if you're not a special play lover, I know a lot of people are so they just kind of avoid those. Some people like to play them. I always recommend a quarter unit a half unit, so it doesn't murder you.
If you didn't play it, you ended up breaking pretty much exactly even 2 2 and 1 was the straight plays yesterday. I know I talked about Seattle first five plus the half. They busted it right in the body. What do you have to do?
It was just to push out. We got our money back, but that plus 100, which is way too much for me to pass up. I actually caught it. I was going to catch it plus 116.
It seemed down to plus 100 and it was up to minus 104. I think my first pitch on that first five money lines. So I think that's just a classic case we were on the wrong side. We just got a little bit of closing line value and sort of taking the plus half and we would have gone up some units there today.
But hey, that's all right. Overall across the week, we are down two units. But again, damage control. I'm very, very confident in here in today.
I got a brand new part later than I'm bringing to the show here today. Calling it the Wednesday Cape Harlay, my friends, did a little bit of research and a little bit of side stuff, kind of diving into some more props and obviously yes, these are going to be some k-props. But I'm super excited to sit down. And then I got four straight plays here today as well.
So we'll dive into those. I took some extra time. I spent some time last night. Just kind of rehashing some things.
I'm really starting to see where these lines are. I'm really starting to see why the books are setting things the way they are so far early in the season. I think the Blue Jays losing was just kind of some horseshit. I think it was to give everybody their opportunity because there were seven people that I saw on the Yankees by the time first pitch happens.
So I'm calling a little bit of bullshit on that one and say we're on the right side of the wrong time. So there you go. There you have it my friends yesterday's best of the day. For me, the 12th, 2022.

So a couple of really interesting games should be fun to watch. I would definitely if you're an NBA fan, I would tune into one. But you know me, I'll be watching, but I ain't going to be probably betting because it's just too much nonsense. I'm going to dive deep into the MLB my friends and without further ado, you see it.
We games. We got four AL games and we have five inter league games. So we got plenty to talk about here today. 13 and total my friends.
First one up on zap. We're going to try and get as close to, yeah, they're not going to be exact. We'll get to in L first and Ailed in inter league. So first one up rotation number 951 and 952.
We have the Washington National shout out my guy, Balboa Rocky. My boy shot. I appreciate you all love and going up against Max Breed and the Braves. Josh Gray or John Gray, Josiah Gray, Josiah John Gray.
It's one of those Josiah Gray. I think it's John Gray. I don't know for the Nationals. Do you have a play out of this one?
It's not a side. It's not a total. It is on one of the pitchers. Obviously it's probably not on Gray.
So stick around for the second second. Second of the day. I'll tell you all about that. Next one up.
We have rotation number 953 and 954. We got 1135 AM Central Time first hitch. Let me pull this up over here. So I'm on the same page as y'all.
Here we go. We got Kyle Hendricks coming out the professor for the cubbies and Zach Thompson for the Pittsburgh Pirates. A couple of key things that really stood out to me and allowed me to make a play pretty pretty confidently in this matchup. I'm going to go to the cubbies.
We're going to take the Cubs first five. Moneyline minus 132 is where I saw it at where I picked it up at. It has ticked up a little bit since then. But point of light, my cubbies look good.
They're rolling in these meetings with the Pirates. The last five overall, they are five and oh in the first five innings. They have completely won them outright. That is straight up.
Last 10 meetings. They're eight and two straight up in the first five innings. Last five Hendricks starts. They are two and three straight up in the first five innings, but I love it to go above 500 here with a simple win in the first five innings.
And then it becomes three and two. So a couple of the trends in the background there, but I really, really like the Cubs to come out rocking a rolling here, especially with this pitchy match up. You already see it there. Kyle Hendricks gets Zach Thompson.
Already mentioned it, but Hendricks has had a boatload of success in his career against this Pirates lineup. The actual lineup in here. Not the Pirates team. Well, the Pirates team too, but this actual lineup.
95 at bats against them. 100 point one 153 batting average allowed 171 OBP and a 439 OPS against these roots in this lineup. 17 Ks only one walk, my friend. Now it is very interesting.
Only 17 Ks with 95 at bats faced. Take stock of that and stick around for the second segment of the day. The Wednesday Cape part label. Let me tell you a little bit about Thompson.
He's only had 18 at bats against this lineup, but he's allowing a 271 batting average to these cubbies for 17 OBP and a 729 OPS. He's only got five Ks two walks against this lineup. I think he gets absolutely destroyed. He has faced the Cubs twice in his career, but it was when he was on the Marlins.
If you guys do remember not here on the Pirates and wouldn't you know he's owing to straight up in the first five innings against the Cubs in his career. I love that trend to continue as well. Give it a couple of his first five money line first best bet of the day. I suggest you take it for rotation number 953, 954, first bitch 1135 AM Central Kids.
We're going to be wrapping up this show and that thing's going to be going off. So I can't wait. We got morning sweats. Let's keep it moving.
Let's keep it moving. Rotation number 955, 956. We have the New York Mets, trotting out Max Sierger, Max Sierzer, Mad Max against the Philadelphia Phillies trotting out Aaron Nolah. Wowser Kapowza, the, they've now gotten minus money, but Max Sierzer in the Mets were plus money this morning.
And last night I couldn't believe my eyes. You see it there right on the ticker opened up plus 105. Now 102, 105 across the market. It seems to be, but still regardless, I don't know what's going on.
And in my mind, that's just telling everybody to run to the Mets or run to Sierzer. I was looking at the first five plus a half. I think it's going to be really back and forth. I think that potentially the Phillies could just destroy him in the first two innings.
Then Sierzerzer could also come out and have an absolutely electric first four below it in the fifth. I have no idea. I'm going to stay out of it. I think that line movement is very, very, very scary with that line movement.
I would tell you to lean more towards the Phillies, but overall in general, I'm going to stay away from this one. So there's my thoughts. There's my overall peak of interest, if you will, in the Messers, the Phillies. Next one up rotation number 957-958.
We have the San Diego Padres and Sean Manaya going up against the San Francisco Giants and Logan Webb. Do you have a play out of this match up? And I'm actually getting more excited about it by the second. So without further ado, let me go back over here real quick and make sure we're on the same page.
There we go. All right, my friends, just making sure I got the right numbers and everything up here for me. Yeah, good to go. So yeah, here, Padres versus the Giants.
Honestly, I think this is going to be back and forth. It really does come down to the pitchy matchup for me. The Giants traditionally haven't been stupendous spectacular against lefties by any means. And Sean Manaya is just my dog man.
Like he is top notch. I love Sean Manaya. I love back him in the first five, especially if you're giving me plus a half. I know we faded Logan Webb to start the season and he did pretty damn well on the Moneyline, but it's almost the exact same number here today.
And he just did two damn good in opening start of the season. I think he does a little bit of struggling here today. I'm not saying he's going to give up eight runs in the first five in the year. But I do think he's going to struggle here more than Sean Manaya will.
And that's just simply because both of these guys have faced these lineups heavily. And I think we see some of the same exact trends here happen today. So as far as the pitchy matchup does go, Sean Manaya faced this lineup 64 at bats against him. 169 batting average allowed 266 OPP in a 558 OPS.
Compare that to Logan Webb against this Padres lineup 62 at bats only too less, but 286 batting average allowed 357 OPP in a 741 OPS. I really think Logan Webb gets beat up here today and I looked into last year and he actually held a 5.82 ERA against the Padres last year. And I really, really, really think he gets destroyed. I already mentioned it, but that first start of the season for Webb was way too good.
And I think it's a little bit of a setup not to mention how tight these lines are and everything going on with the Padres being one and four straight up and the first five innings in the last five meetings, but five and five straight up in the last 10. So I think we get back to a little bit of normalcy, a sense of normalcy. Again, one more time. The Padres don't have to be winning this outright.
They just need to have it tied in the next bed up on the board here today. San Diego Padres first five plus a half on the run line. Okie dokie. There's the National League of Artichokes.
Let's dive in to the American League. Next rotation number up on 10. 959, 960. We got the Boston Red Sox going against the Detroit Tigers.
And we have Nathan Yavaldi going up against Eduardo Rodriguez. Oh, wouldn't you know, I have a play out of this game as well. And it is simply because of that name you see there, Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez.
You say, why does that sound familiar? Why does that seem like that's not the right team? It's because he was a Boston Red Sox last year, I guess, last year. In the rotation, it is his revenge game right here right now, my friends.
I absolutely love it. This is not a fate of Boston because they burned us on the two for Tuesday parlay yesterday. This is simply because this is a perfect spot to back at Eduardo Rodriguez into fade. Nathan Yavaldi, I'm point playing period banking on Eduardo Rodriguez to come out hot, fired off, just absolutely punching out, dealing to his previous team.
And I think Nathan Yavaldi's going to struggle here a little bit. He's actually faced this Detroit Tigers lineup a handful of times, 62 at bats against him, faced a er, times he's faced him, 285 batting average allowed 378 OPP and a 705 OPS. I don't know. I like that a lot.
I like those trends to kind of continue. I like him to kind of struggle, maybe give up one or two. Maybe the Tigers win this one outright again. They lose the full game.
I'm not saying they have to win it outright. They just got to have it tied. And when you know, in the last five meetings, the Tigers are four and one, two of the first half are online plus a half. I absolutely love it.
They've actually been winning outright. They haven't just been tiny. They've been winning it outright, but they're four and one to that first five plus a half. So I just wanted to give you that trend as well.
So third best bet of the day coming out of rotation, number 959, 96 day Detroit Tigers first five run my plus half. All right, next one up rotation number 961, 962. We got the Oakland athletics and Frankie Montdas against Tampa Bay Rays and Shane McClanahan. I love Frankie.
I love McClanahan too is the problem. I think this game is going to be bananas. I think it's going to be a back and forth pitchers duel. So does everybody and their brothers.
Yeah, 60% of bets coming in on the under 77% of the handle coming in on the under hasn't gone anywhere though. Open at seven and a half state at seven and a half. It is getting the juice though. I don't know what to tell you.
Oh, yeah, I do stay the hell away. Just enjoy this matchup as a pure baseball fan. Next one up rotation number 963, 964. You got the Toronto Blue Jays up against the New York Yankees in the Bronx.
Garrett Cole taking the bump against Jose Barrios. You saw it. We saw it. We backed Toronto yesterday and it just did not work out how we thought it was going to work out.
And I was thinking the exact same thing. Garrett Cole kind of struggled to open up the season. I think he struggles again here today, but I just didn't want to get over as Ellison get burned for almost the exact same thought track that I had yesterday. So I'm going to stay away from that one in general.
Next one, a rotation number 965, 966, but Seattle Mariners and Robbie Ray going up against the White Sox and Dallas Keiko. I wanted to get involved with Seattle right off the bat, but you know how the White Sox are against lefties and I am not daring to fade that lineup. I did it one time this year and I was like, I don't know how to get lefties right now. They started this season the same way that they ended last season, the season before that and the season before that.
So stay away from fading the White Sox when they're facing lefties. I'm not for certain though that that Mariners lineup can't make some noise against Keiko being the lefty too. But I'm going to stay out of that one. I'm going to take some data.
I'm going to take some notes on that game and hopefully come out with some good stuff we can take going forward. So there you go. There you go. They have it.
My opinion is in the AL match up now. Match ups. Now we got five interleague match ups here or actually four. Looks like we see it there right now.
Kansas City Royals. That's why you tune into the Talking Line Podcast live in Primetime. Kansas City Royals against the St. Louis Cardinals has been postponed.
I would imagine for whether it is Oh, yeah, super shitty outside right now. And I would not be surprised if it's even shittier down south. So there you go rotation number 972 is off the board has been postponed. Kansas City Royals against the St.
Louis Cardinals. So we got four left to talk about interleague match ups. My friends. The next one up is actually my last best bet of the day.
And it didn't come true for us yesterday was a push. And I firmly believe it comes true for us here today. So we're going to the Cleveland Indians and Tristan Kinsey. I do believe it is.
I'm sorry if I'm. Yeah, Tristan Kinsey. Okay. I sometimes I get on the show and I just go blank in the noggin but and Tristan Kinsey going up against Cincinnati Reds and Nick Lidolo.
You say Nick Lidolo who I have no idea. But I'll tell you what, I love it so much because he is making his official MLB debut. I talked about it yesterday with Matt brash. Now we get an opportunity to back him once here again.
This is going to be a very good spot. Shout out again to triple limbs. My girl making money that you can really target and make some solid solid profits here early on in the season. So you obviously already see everybody's all over Cleveland.
And you know, it was very interesting that they opened up at the dog as a dog in the spot. They are the perceived much hotter team. Their offense is much hotter. And then I looked at the match.
I said, McKinsey and who the hell is Lidolo? And then the alarms went off in my head. I said, damn, McKinsey's get get speed up against the Reds. And I don't know who Lidolo is.
I bet this is his debut. And wouldn't you know it? It is Nick Lidolo's MLB debut. There's no tape on him.
Shits, you can't even go to some of the websites I use and even find any back alley deal stat information on him. It is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. These are the type of guys I like Cleveland doesn't necessarily struggle against lefties, but it definitely works in our favor for him to be a lefty. So I like it a lot.
Not to mention it is MASH City for the Reds anytime that they have faced Tristan McKinsey in their careers in this lineup. This lineup has a 267 batting average 567 OBP and 833 OPS against Tristan McKinsey. This lineup being the Red. So I think they absolutely destroy him.
I think they absolutely come out guns a blazing and you tell me why the guardians would need to be the underdog on the first five and for the full game, especially for the first five when they're 4-0-1 straight up in the last five meetings in the first five innings. I don't know. You tell me, I don't set lines. I just bankrupt him.
I'm taking Cincinnati Reds on the Money Line first five Money Line since any Reds first five Money Line. That's my last best bet of the day. Those are all four. So we'll quickly get through the rest of these here today.
Rotation number 969-970. We got Clayton Kirkshaag going up against Chris Patek more specifically the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Minnesota Twins. You say, what the hell? The Twins really did hold that lineup.
They got Chris Patek floating around there in that rotation. I said, yeah, the same damn thing myself. I couldn't even believe it. So no play, no side, no total.
I'm good. I'm at. But I did find a nice little nugget of information that may or may not be on the Wednesday K-Props. So tune in next segment of the day coming right up.
Next matchup. Rotation number 973-974. First pitch at 240 PM Central Time. Houston Astros, Arizona Demon Backs, Framper Valdez, Merrill Kelley.

What the hell is going on over there? I thought they were the fourth best team in the baseball league. What the hell did that happen? Apparently not.
Early them, you know, critics who, uh, let's not go down that rabbit hole. There's a lot of, I'm just gonna say, there's a lot of stupid media members who say a lot of stupid shit. And that was one of them. The Milwaukee Brewers are not the fourth best team in baseball.
I'm sorry. I'm worried to like period. They're just not. They gave up a two-go.
They lost to Baltimore. They're terrible. They're not terrible, but they're not the fourth best team in baseball. I'll tell you that.
So no opinion on this game. Actually, I got nothing out of it. Uh, maybe look to John Means for a little bit of action. I think he has some success.
I don't know what Corbin is going to be this year, but there you go. There you go. There you go. My thoughts on the final, final interleague and the final Emily game on today's board.

You don't even have to do it in week There ain't no time crunch one hour day you're telling me you don't have ten hours over the course of the next ten days Those ten hours could save you five years of trouble could save you ten years of turmoil Do you understand that by spending a little bit of discipline now a little bit of shitty time now?
Can lead to worlds and leaps and bounds of success later? Do you understand that chasing after all this temporary pleasure now is bullshit and it's doing nothing to further you as a human being in the future? If you feel in the same and not in this rough the same rat race rotation every single day Maybe it's time to do something different Maybe just by reading and realizing how easy it is to be disciplined and stay disciplined You realize that you can start taking your other areas of life in that direction as well, so I know it's not a popular opinion The most successful people out there the most successful human beings of us because they are of us as well They're human beings too. They are not men and high gazels They put their legs in their pants just like we do every morning I ensure you my friends I promise you that to be a fact but what I also promise you is that Point blank period you got to start reading a little bit if you want to start making some things making some things Clipping your life whether that be researching whether that be finding a book about being a better communicator or literally looking yourself The mirror where's my downfall where my struggling and finding a book on how to improve that because I promise you these people wouldn't have been allowed to Publish books and do stuff and be on New York Times best selling offer if this book wasn't Able to do the things it says it does.
