Schonberg isn’t a musician dabbling in science, or an entomologist with a weekend hobby band. Through her career she’s managed the unlikely pairing of the two, alternating between playing percussion on tour with her bands and doing fieldwork, investigating ecosystems that sustain insect life across the world.
